The Western Association's Order of Malta Parish Nurse Programs

The Western Association operates Parish Nurse Programs through which a registered nurse and member of the Order visit the elderly homebound in various parishes in Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix and San Francisco.  

The Western Association’s Parish Nurse Programs focus on the physical and spiritual wellness of the homebound elderly.  During home visits, a registered nurse, accompanied by a member of the Order, inquires about the senior’s wellbeing and offers counseling and referral services as appropriate.  The Western Association currently serves homebound seniors in the following parishes:

St. Brendan’s Catholic Church and Christ the King Catholic Church in Los Angeles, CA.  For more information, including volunteer opportunities, please contact Willa Olsen.
